Please find linked below a PDF containing Summer Physical Workouts develpoed by our Athletic Trainer at OHS. Doing these exercises will help prevent injury during the season and will also build the physical strength necessary to complete a competitive Marching Band show.

A little preparation for Band Camp will go a long way towards making sure that you are prepared for the season!

Marching Band is a fairly demanding physical activity. Veiw THIS VIDEO for a study done in 1993 on the demands of Drum Corps on a student musician. Although we aren't as demanding physically as a Drum Corps, this does give you an idea of the demands of the sport.
